Our History

VFTech is led by experienced professionals specializing in securing government capital for startups and entrepreneurs. Our leadership and senior operational team are entrepreneurs themselves, having founded and operated their own ventures, with firsthand understanding of the challenges early-stage companies face when navigating the federal landscape.

Our Team

Michael Kunkler
Michael is the President of VFTech. He has 20+ years experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Defense (DoD). Michael has experience managing both the DoD and Defense Intelligence Agency accounts as a Director at In-Q-Tel, with exposure to the full spectrum of IQT technology areas (space, sensor, IoT, cyber, infrastructure, and analytics). Michael has an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Michael continues to serve in the Air Force Reserve at U.S. Cyber Command.
Jennifer Stojanovich
Jennifer is the Chief of Operations. She has 20 years of experience in small business innovation and local and federal government. She has written winning proposals that have secured companies tens of millions in non-dilutive funding. Prior to working with VFTech, she worked for the Department of State in a variety of roles and for the City of Los Angeles. She has an MBA from Georgetown University and an undergraduate degree from UCLA.
